In Greenwich, a small apartment complex like any other apartment complex in New York where no one but one guy noticed very indistinctive differences. Lars Thorwald is charged with the murder of his wife which was suspected by a resident of the Greenwich Village Mr. L.B. Jeffries who said that Lars Thorwald had chopped up his own wife.

Before women weren't able to get a job. They we're forced to stay home and clean,cook, and\or take care of the children. Women did not have many or really any rights before.
