Clyde Erwin Elementary School
Dr. Patterson's Weekly Update
Eagle Pride: Video by Dr. Patterson
April 14, 2019
Good afternoon Eagles!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful restful weekend! Last week was another exciting week at Clyde Erwin! Field day for grades 2-3 was a huge success! Thank you to Mr. Sanfilippo and the enrichment team for your planning and organization. You rock! We also would like to shout out to all parents who attended and volunteered. We appreciate your support so much!
Our third, fourth, and fifth grade students completed state and district benchmark assessments last week. Thank you to the teachers who have been working so hard throughout this year to teach rigorously and prepare students for the next grade level, and thank you to our students who worked diligently on the assessments to show their stuff! We are excited about the growth our students are making and proud of their progress. Parents, we are thankful for you working with your students at home to read daily and memorize math facts. It is a huge help!
Thank you to all parents who are getting your students to school on time in the morning. Instructional time is so important, and students who are in class 8:00 - 2:55 daily are more likely to show high growth and be prepared for the next school year.
