5A CX State Champion

ROUND ROCK, Texas -- A&M Consolidated senior Karis Jochen successfully defended her 5A cross country state championship Saturday morning. She finished the course in 17:18.14, a good 12 seconds faster that second place finisher Sandie Raines of Humble Kingwood.

Region 2 STEM Champion

AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 3, 2012 -- A&M Consolidated senior Kensen Shi won the individual Region 2 Siemens Math, Science and Technology Competition, earning a $3,000 scholarship and a chance to win a $100,000 scholarship at the national competition.

FFA District Competition

The District 1 FFA LDE contest was on 11-5-12. AMCHS took 8 teams all of which competetd againt 20 other local schools in our area. We placed 6 in the top 5, 3 of which are advancing to the Area III contest on November 17, 2012 at Blinn College. Great Job AMCHS FFA, good luck @ Area.
