Cardinal Courier: October 8th

Hope you have all enjoyed your fall break and the beautiful weather! We are looking forward to seeing all of our cardinals back on campus on Monday! If you are looking for something to do this weekend, check out the pumpkin decorating contest information below.

This month is a busy month with parent/teacher conferences, red ribbon week, and our Storybook Character Parade. We will be welcoming parents to come line up outside to watch the Storybook Character Parade. We will share details and a map of where to stand in the next Cardinal Courier.

If your student rides their bike to school, please talk with your child about the following safety reminders!

• Stay on the sidewalk at all times
• Come to a complete stop, get off the bike and walk across the crosswalk
• Do not cross the street or parking lot where there is not a crosswalk

We want to work in partnership with you to increase bike safety! We will be talking with students about bike safety and having them practice the correct way when we are monitoring those areas as well. Thank you for helping us keep our Cardinals safe!

Our Lost and Found is starting to fill up! Please take a moment when you are on campus to stop by and look to see if any of your child's lost items are there! We do our best to look for names on items and deliver those back to students. If the item doesn't have a name on it, it goes into the lost and found. We will probably clean out the lost and found when everyone leaves for Thanksgiving Break. This will give students and families and opportunity on Conference Day (Nov. 1st) and Thanksgiving Feast Days to look for lost items. Items that have not been claimed by then will be donated. Parents feel free to check in a the front office any morning and go check the lost and found it needed!
