Congratulations to Mrs. Clark! Mrs. Clark has been a special part of the Lawrence Elementary team for over 4 years. As Kid Connection Specialist, Mrs. Clark provides love and support to every Labrador, and we will forever be grateful for her kindness. Happy retirement Mrs. Clark!

As you know, Lawrence Elementary is implementing the Leader in Me, which teaches 21st-century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader. Surveys will be conducted to learn more about key areas of strength and areas of needed growth in our school. The data from these surveys will also help us track the impacts of the Leader in Me process and implement key practices more fully. In order for us to have a holistic picture of what is going on in our school, we are asking all teachers, parents/guardians, and students in Grade 4 and up to participate.

Parent participation is completely voluntary, but we do hope to get feedback from one member of every household. The parent/guardian survey takes about 12 minutes to complete and will ask questions about your child and about his or her experience in our school. If you have more than one child attending the school, you will be asked to think about the oldest child’s experiences as you answer questions related to his or her growth.

From Child Nutrition Services - No Grab and Go Meals on the Last Day of School

• On the last day of school there will be no grab and go meals served.

• Students can pick up meal bags for the last day of school on Wednesday 6/9, along with the Wednesday for Weekends meal box from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the following locations (the usual Wednesday meal distribution locations):

Summer Office Hours:

• Elementary school offices will remain open to the public, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, through Friday, June 18, 2021.

• Middle and K-8 school offices will remain open to the public, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, through Friday, June 25, 2021.

• High school offices will remain open to the public, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, though Friday, July 2, 2021.

August Office Reopening Hours: All K-12 offices will reopen to the public, beginning Monday, August 9, 2021.

• Elementary school offices will be open to the public from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a daily lunch hour of 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

• Middle, K-8 and High school offices will be open to the public from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

District Office Summer Hours: The District Office will be open to the public 8:00 - 5:00, except for the following dates, on which the District Office will be closed: 7/2, 7/5, 7/9, 7/16, 7/23 & 7/30. (Fridays in July, plus the 4th of July holiday.)

Friday, June 4- Spirit Day- Pajama Day
