The Great Lakes Male Chorus Association held at the beautiful Whiting Auditorium in Flint on Saturday, April 5, 2014.
The three male choirs from Flint area were the host ... They are:
The Flint Male Chorus which was founded at Chevrolet Manufacturing of Flint in 1943, Directed by Dr. Matthew Packer.
The Norton Choir which was founded in 1921 at Buick in Flint.
Directed by Dan Hill.
The Davison Knights of Columbus Singing Knights. Founded in 1964.
Directed by Don Kreiner.
These three groups represent the greater Flint area, like Davison, Clio, Swartz Creek, Flushing, Grand Blanc and others.

Flint Male Chorus
The Chorus performs music of many styles and periods, including spirituals, folk music and musical theater, as well as traditional sacred and secular pieces. Averaging 30 to 40 voices strong annually, the men sing for churches and for business, civic, and private groups throughout Mid-Michigan. The Chorus averages between 15 and 20 performances per season.
A member of the Associated Male Choruses of America and the Great Lakes Male Chorus Association, the Flint Male Chorus has performed in International Sings at Winnipeg, Manitoba; Marquette Michigan; and Buffalo, New York; and state and regional Big Sings.
