Important Message about Expensive Items

After the winter break, we made a request that students refrain from bringing expensive items to school. This includes, but is not limited to, Apple AirPods. Unfortunately, students are still bringing these items to school, and we continue to have cases of our students' loaning and misplacing these coveted items. Please understand that if these items go missing, the school can not be held responsible. While the administration has been making a reasonable effort to assist students with their recovery, due to the Airpods' small size, we often have not been successful. Regrettably, these items are often lost for good.

Please help us and your child by insisting that your child leave these items at home.

Important Information: Absences and AIR Testing at the JH

Sycamore Junior High will administer the AIR assessments on April 15, 16, 22, 23 and 29.

Please mark these dates on your calendars and make every effort not to schedule your child for appointments or vacation days.

If you know your child will be absent due to religious observances or will be otherwise unavoidably absent, please contact Lesli Lally at 686-1760 x2502 or as soon as possible so arrangements can be made. Thank you.

Reminder of Cell Phone Policy

As a reminder to students and parents, cell phones are to be turned off and placed in the student's locker at the beginning of the school day and not removed and turned back on until the end of the day. Thank you for cooperation and collaboration.

In Case You Missed It

Safer Schools Ohio

Safer Schools Ohio is a multi-agency effort created to assist schools in continuously improving the safety of our students. By calling or texting the statewide anonymous hotline parents, students or community members can report anything that is suspicious or endangering you, your friends or your school.

Lost & Found

If your child is missing items, please have him or her check the tables in the cafeteria. Items are removed by our PTO volunteer on a regular (usually bi-weekly) basis.

See these photos of what is currently in L&F!

Immunizations for 7th graders

Thank you to all 7th grade families who have turned in immunization records. As we work to process those records received, please continue to be patient before you follow up. If there is a problem, you will be contacted via email by Amy Bonham. If you have not turned in your child's proof of immunizations from a doctor's office, please do so ASAP.
