9/11 Heroes Run
The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Takes Gayman by Storm!
The viral ALS Ice Bucket Challenge started when 29-year-old Pete Frates, diagnosed with ALS in 2012, posted an ice bucket video on social media and challenged a few friends to follow his lead. The #ALSIceBucketChallenge has since become a social media sensation, sweeping the country with compassion and support.
The ALS Association’s mission includes providing care services to assist people with ALS and their families through a network of chapters working in communities across the nation and a global research program focused on the discovery of treatments and a cure for the disease.
Teachers at Gayman are riding the ALS wave! In support of the ALS Association, the Gayman staff have selected Friday, September 5th as a "Causual for a Cause Day."
See video below for the latest teachers who have been nominated and accepted the challenge.
