Hello CBA Community & Happy Fall!

As the season begins to change, CBA Elementary begins to take on a fresh, academic feel. The beginning of the school year gave us all a chance to get to know one another, and set the tone for the year. Now, we see and hear learning all around us! What a great feeling when you walk down the halls of the school!

Take a look at some of the things we saw going on this week:

  • 3rd Grade is learning all about Growth Mindset!
  • 4th Grade is Sketchnoting the prompt, "How do you doodle school?"
  • Pre-K had a phenomenal Pre-K Percussion Parade around the Playground. Check it out below!
  • 2nd Grade was recognized as Team of the Week in First in Math & did their first Ozobot challenge!
  • 5th Grade is learning all about the different types of sentences!
  • 1st Grade worked hard in math centers on new addition strategies!
  • Kindergarten celebrated the first day of fall in art class by painting pumpkins without using any orange paint!

Field Trips are back! This past week, our 4th grade students visited Harrisburg PA and toured the PA Capitol. Students were able to see a live session of the House, tour the building and learn its history, visit the Welcome Center, and ask all the questions!! The students were so inquisitive! We had a great visit!

By now, you should have received the Sign Up Genius link to select a time for Parent/Teacher conferences. These conferences are a great opportunity for us to learn more about your child, and for you to learn more about our programs. Please be sure to select a time, virtually or in-person.

We are off to a great start and can't wait to see everyone back at school on Monday!

Thank you!

Check out the Phenomenal Pre-K Percussion Parade around the Playground!
