Halloween Edition
Dear Davisburg Families
Welcome Fall! It's an exciting time and I hope you are taking time to enjoy the season through the eyes of your child as they find the perfect pumpkin, consider Halloween dress up options and admire the changing leaves. This edition outlines a few things to know about Halloween at Davisburg. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
Costumes at School - 10/29/15
Students are welcome to wear their costumes to school on Thursday 10/29 as it is the last day of our school week. Please keep in mind the following building guidelines: We ask that children NOT wear costumes depicting violence or violent acts. This includes fake blood, gore or imagery that would not be "G rated". Masks that can be removed and do not interfere with the day are allowed although please help your child understand that there may be times during the day that they need to be removed.
Please leave all toy guns, knives and swords at home. Reserve elaborate costumes, face paint and make-up for trick or treating as these things can create a learning distraction.
Halloween is an exciting time. Let's all help to make sure it is a safe and positive experience for the children while at school. Thank you for your support with these guidelines.
