Early Release Days
On Wednesday 2/24 and Thursday 2/25 are early release days, students will load buses at 1:15 pm. Please plan accordingly to meet your child's bus. Thank You!
Current Event
This week's current event is "Black History Month," from News-2-You. Academics will be focused on this topic for reading, writing, and math. There will be a cooking activity done on Friday.
History
February's focus is American Peace Keepers.
Geography
We will continue to focus on Geography of the states Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, and Wisconsin.
Community Skills February 11, 2016 - Peachtree Ridge Park
We will be going to Peachtree Ridge Park provided the weather is nice. If it is looking like rain/cold (below 55 degrees and cloudy/windy) we will be going to the Mall of Georgia. If we do go to the Mall of Georgia we will be eating out, Chick-Fil-A has donated lunches to our class, if we do not go have lunch at the mall we will do that later in the year when we are not able to go outside.
