Principal Passage...


I don't know about you, but last week was a marathon for me that ended with sleeping on the roof, waking up to a light rain. Thanks Lindsay for camping along w me. Thanks for all you did to support both field day and Boosterthon. Depending on collections, we are set to do as well as last year!

Please share the invitation information/link with parents in your newsletters for this Thursday, May 5th Volunteer / Teacher Appreciation Picnic. Here is the RSVP link - Please plan to join the volunteers for lunch. I have arranged coverage for the cafeteria.

May 4th staff meeting moved to May 11th. It will focus on EOG testing training. BUT, we do need to collect some information from you on May 4th so right after-school come by the library for a drive-by activity. The district has ask each school to define some core values which will be part of a district Core Value Summit on June 15th. This work is being led by Leslie Smith and Morgan Classen. They will represent us at this district session. Thanks to both for their leadership. See the article below for details for Wednesday.

  • If you are serving as a Mentor to someone new to our faculty. Please attempt to get observations done by April 15th or sooner. End of the year for these is not advisable for many reasons. Need support? Reach out to Lindsay or me.

  • Please copy me on your classroom newsletters either via email or on paper. This should be at least bi-weekly or weekly.

Walkthrough Schedule

We have heard your feedback about how we unintentionally go into the same rooms some days. Here is a schedule which should address this issue.

Creasy Monday and Friday
Mikesell Tuesday and Thursday
Stern Wednesday

Bobby also does student observations so may be in on other days. We'll do our best to follow this schedule.
