Dear LP Families:

Our PTA is offering another fun family event on May 6. This time it's a Sadie Hawkins dance. You should have received a flyer this week. Permission slips with $10 need to be in by Wednesday May 4th. Please send them to the main office. Check in for the dance is at 6:45, and it ends at 8:30pm.

We began spring concert season this week at LP. We had a WONDERFUL Mallet Music Makers and Recorders concert on Thursday night. We look forward to the upcoming band and chorus concerts. They really serve as a celebration of a year's worth of hard work. We are so lucky to have such talented leaders of our music programs in Mr. Trumpowsky and Mr. Savine.

Parents of Fifth Graders - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Do you have a fifth grader?! Please think about helping coordinate and plan the fifth grade picnic. Not a planner? Then, would you mind helping with set up, supervision, and take down? If you can help us out with this LP tradition, please give the main office a call (or reply to the email), and we will connect you with the right person.

Grade 5 Middle School Transition Schedule

Ms. McAllister has coordinated some year-end activities to help familiarize our fifth graders to the Middle School. ***This is a revised schedule.***

Box Tops for Education

Just a reminder, we are still collecting Box Tops for Education. Your child can bring them in and drop them off in the main lobby of school. The benefit to our school could be great - the PTA uses this money to buy things that support all students, like science club and Red Ribbon Week.

What is your favorite:

Color: Pink

Holiday: Thanksgiving

Flower: Rose

Season: Fall

Children's Book: No David

Movie: Annie 2014

You might surprised to know that I am considered a "miracle baby" because I had spinal surgery and wasn't able to do anything active, but after a year I can do a backflip.

I would love to meet Zac Effron! He is an actor in many movies but mostly known for High School Musical.

If I could go anywhere I would go to France or Las Vegas.

Last summer I spent five weeks in different parts of Florida and then I came back and started coaching cheerleading.

When I'm not at LP, I am either working at the YMCA in child care, coaching a cheerleading team, or being a nanny for one of the families I help with.
