Science Chapter 11
Lesson 2
Newton's First Law of Motion
States that that an object that is at rest tends to stay at rest.
And an object in motion tends to stay in motion.
According to this law, the way to change an objects velocity is to apply an unbalanced net force to it. An object exerts inertia if has buoyancy.
Newton's 2 Law of Motion
Acceleration depends on the object's mass and the amount of net force applied to it.
An objects acceleration (a) equals the net force on the object (b) divided by its mass
(c) if the force increases, then the acceleration decrees. Newton's first law shows that
a net force is needed in order for an object to accelerate.
Newton's third law :For every action force, there is an equal and opposite reaction force.
Newton's law of universal gravitation:The planets, the stars, and all the partials of matter exert gravitational force.
Weightlessness And Momentum
Weightlessness: Sky divers experience a feeling of weightlessness, the state of being without detectable weight . However gravity still pulls them toward the center of earth's mass. Astronats in space is true weightlessness.
Momentum: The combination of the mass and the speed of an object.
