Ships Monday Memo
Sailing on to Summer: June 15th, 2020
Happy First Week of Summer, Ships and Ships Families! On behalf of all of us at Lincoln High School, we'd like to thank you for your dedication and perseverance throughout distance learning. We know this has not been the easiest... nor has it been how any of us would've preferred to spend these past few months. We appreciate the continued support and connection to our learning community and sincerely wish each of our Ships and Ship families a healthy, relaxing, enjoyable summer season! We are hopeful that the halls of LHS will be filled with our students and staff in September! Our team will continue to keep you updated with information regarding the 20-21 school.
Our Monday Memo communication will move to every other week, beginning on Monday, June 15th. We will be sure to keep you up-to-date on school news, throughout the summer!
Publication dates will be the following:
June 15, 29
July 13, 27
Stay Home, Wash Your Hands, Practice Social Distancing.
A Note From the Admin Team
SUMMER SCHOOL: CLEARING UP INCOMPLETES
If your student is in need of an extended opportunity to work toward passing one or more classes... individual information will be sent to you by the end of this week. This information will include the session dates, the name of the teacher/contact information, as well as any specific course completion requirements.
Session 1: Thursday, June 18 through July, 2
Session 2: July 6 through July 24
Session 3: July 27 through August 14
Many of you have received your student's personal belongings, last week, thanks to the committed staff at both Lincoln and Brandt Buses. Students who live outside of our city limits (i.e. Open Enrolled students who live in Two Rivers), should be receiving their belongings early this week.
We have a number of items that were not able to be delivered, as they were in a location other than an assigned locker or PE locker. We are working on unpacking and securely storing those left-over belongings. If you were expecting personal belongings to be delivered and believe you have left something behind, please send an email to any member of our administration team. We will ask that you describe the item(s) and where you believe they were located and we will make arrangements to get you your belongings.
Seniors, a reminder that you may keep your Chromebook and charger.
Senior Google Accounts
Senior Google Accounts will remain active into August this summer. It is strongly advised that seniors plan on moving their Google materials into a personal account starting now. The link here will walk you through how to do this.
Yearbooks for Purchase
If you still wish to purchase a yearbook, you're in luck!!! Additional yearbooks will be available to purchase, later this week. Information will be shared via Infinite Campus and Social Media.
School Property Closures
Reminder, please remember that all school property is closed through June 30th. There is absolutely no use of buildings or grounds without the consent of the building administrator. This includes tracks/fields, playgrounds, parking lots, etc.

Here are a variety of resources to support and protect you and your family during the COVID19 outbreak.
Lunch Opportunities for Students
Meals are served cold to be warmed up at home.
To begin we ask that someone from the vehicle come out and grab the number of meals needed. Please form a line and use “social distancing“ at all times.
Let one of our volunteers know how many meals you need and you may then grab your bags.
