A Note From the Principal
Just a reminder to send your child with appropriate outerwear (hats, gloves, snowpants, boots, and coats) every day. We go outside for recess as long as the feels-like temperature is above 15 degrees. The students love getting to go outside, run around, and play in the snow, and being dressed warmly helps students fully enjoy their time with their classmates! Thanks for your cooperation.
Second grade parents - please be aware that your child will be taking the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) during the window of February 6-10, 2023. This Ohio-required whole-grade testing screens all students for potential gifted identification in Superior Cognitive Ability and Creative Thinking Ability, and it also provides information about students' instructional strengths and needs. Following the screening, individual student results will be sent home with your child. Please contact the school for exact testing dates and times. If you have questions about the assessment, contact megan.kinney@chardonschools.org.
Thank you,
Mathew Prezioso

If your family qualifies, your student(s) will receive a free breakfast and lunch every school day, and academic fees will be waived.
