Calling all teacher leaders!
Oakland County's Effective Practice Conference
June 18-19, 2019 at Lamphere High School
A message from Oakland Schools...
INSPIRE TEACHERS, EMPOWER STUDENTS
To honor effective practices, please consider sharing your learning and insights by presenting a session at the Oakland County Fourth Annual Effective Practices Conference. All of us get better when we share our practices with one another for our students! Our primary focus this year is on well being, quality instructional practices and student engagement. We need you to share your practice by leading a breakout session with fellow educators around one of the above focus areas. Sessions may include one or more adult presenters. Please consider including student presenters as a way of bringing the student voice into our conference
Oakland Schools will cover the conference registration fee for presenters. Student presenters are also free. As an added bonus, Oakland Schools will offer the opportunity for you to work with Oakland Schools consultants in the design of your breakout session. The session will take place on May 2nd at Lamphere High School. (more information to follow).
