Soil gets eroded in the ocean and people miss use soil and there is less than 50% soil left on Earth.
mechanical and chemical
Mechanical weathering breaks rock into smaller pieces / Chemical weathering is when minerals in the rock changes and goes on to other rocks.
Texture in soil need to be spread apart so water can go through it. Soil horizons is different layers of soil. Soil is renewable if we take good care of it, also soil forms 1mm/year and soil is inorganic and organic. This process forms more soil, if layer A forms enough organic material then it decays. Layer B begins to form, Layer A gets thicker and layer B develop. Layer E goes on top and layer B sinks.
We use remote sensing to watch the Earth and we use remote sensing to see areas of soil.
