25 Book Challenge Campaign
On December 17th, students who have read 10 or more books for the 25 Book Campaign will be invited to attend an event at the Performing Arts Center at Norhtwest High Shool. Please encourage students to read and submit their data into the netSchool 25 Book Challenge database.
Important Dates:
November 27th - Cut-off date for 5 book incentive
November 30th - 5 Book Ice Cream Celebration
Decemeber 10th - Cut-off date for 10 book incentive
December 17th - 10 Book Movie Celebration @ PAC NHS
Teen Read Week Apple Festival
Winners of the TRW raffle enjoyed the festivities in the library.
Student Book Club
The student book club will discuss Matched by Allie Condie on Novemeber 16th in the library at 8:30 a.m. Please sign-up in the library no later than Novemeber 13th if you plan to participate.
Faculty Book Club
The faculty book club will discuss a Lone Star Book by Ruta Septyson December 14th in the library at 8:00 a.m.

Students are invited to the student book club to discuss Matched by Allie Condie.
Cassia has always had complete trust in the Society to make decisions for her, but when she is being paired with her ideal mate, a second face flashes on the screen, and Cassia begins to doubt the Society's infallibility as she tries to decide which man she truly loves.

Faculty Book Club
Faculty will discuss the Texas Lone Star book by Ruta Sepetys.
In 1941, fifteen-year-old Lina, her mother, and brother are pulled from their Lithuanian home by Soviet guards and sent to Siberia, where her father is sentenced to death in a prison camp while she fights for her life, vowing to honor her family and the thousands like hers by burying her story in a jar on Lithuanian soil. Based on the author's family, includes a historical note.
