Weekly Update

Mayor's Fitness Council of San Antonio

Message from Full Council Chair

Greetings Mayor's Fitness Council Members-

The Mayor's Fitness Council has been closely monitoring COVID-19 and related closures in our community. Out of extreme caution and in alignment with the recommendation for avoiding large gatherings we will not be holding any in-person meetings in the upcoming week. In addition, the San Antonio Business Group on Health has postponed their annual awards ceremony and the Spring Sicolvia has been cancelled. We encourage you to follow the precautions shared by CDC for social distancing, hand washing, avoiding contact with sick individuals, and staying home if you are sick. San Antonio Metro Health has created a website with community resources and updates related to COVID-19, which we encourage you to turn to for information: https://www.sanantonio.gov/Health/News/Alerts/CoronaVirus#281783804-metro-health-

We will continue to monitor the situation and share updates with regards to future meeting dates.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Stay Well,

Mandy

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
