Lifetouch Pictures
Picture ordering options:
- The best way is online with the code on your picture envelopes.
- Order pictures ahead of time for next week by going to Lifetouch.com and using the Picture ID: EVT4P9K86
- Write a check and place it in the envelope/flyer before you get to the camera and hand it to the photographer.
- Order after picture day (see below from the website).
**Ordering ahead will help move things along quicker and eliminate the exchange of money on picture day.
APPROPRIATE SCHOOL ATTIRE IS REQUIRED FOR SCHOOL PHOTOS.
Student Lunch Accounts
Parents can deposit money for meal transactions through K12PaymentCenter. Parents can access K12PaymentCenter via this link or via the links icon on Parent Portal.
Parents can still deposit money for meal transactions by bringing payment via check or cash to the school during registration. A DropBox will be provided for in-person lunch deposits.
A high school regular breakfast is $1.70 ($0.30 for reduced) and lunch is $2.60 ($0.40 for reduced)
Families wanting to apply for free/reduced lunches, or needing to re-apply, need to turn in an application to the high school office to Mrs. Frame. Applications will also be available at Registration.

If you turned in your Chromebook at the middle school last year, you can receive a Chromebook at registration also.
Yearbooks
Yearbooks from last school year will be available for pickup. Yearbook staff will be located in front of the south doors under the awning.
If you cannot remember if you bought one, but your name isn't on the master list (created by our publisher), then we cannot give you a book. You will have to look through your email for a confirmation receipt and show that to us.
To order this year's yearbook (the 2020-2021 yearbook), they must do that online at www.yearbookforever.com.
Linked below is a document that explains the process of ordering, and our tiered pricing.
There will be only a handful of extra yearbooks from 2019-2020 available for purchase. They are $80, first come first serve. Exact change or check (made out to PCHS- Journalism) only.
School Social Worker Resource Checklist Needs Assessment
Hello PCHS Parents & Guardians!
We are asking all Pirate Families to please take a moment to complete the following Google Form. Because much of registration this year will be completed virtually, this brief questionnaire is your School Social Worker's first and primary way to help you access resources and support services. It also lets us know if you are interested in giving back to your school community to help other Pirate Families in-need. Please do not hesitate to contact your School Social Worker at any time!
Virtual Back-to-School Night/Orientation for Remote Learners
Parents of our remote learners will soon be receiving some communication about their return to school. This communication will include a form to submit questions and information about grade-level Back-to-School Night video conference calls that will be scheduled for the week of August 31-September 3. The conference calls will include introductions from all grade-level remote teachers, answers to the questions submitted, details on Chromebook and classroom materials distribution, and what to expect or a "day in the life of a remote learner."
Important Immunization Info for 12th Graders
If your child is entering the 12th grade, whether in-person or remote, they must have provided proof of the Meningococcal vaccine before they will be able to proceed with the 2020-21 academic year.
If you have not already provided proof of having received this vaccination, please provide a copy of your vaccination paperwork via:
Email to Nurse Jennie Olson at olsonj@platteco.k12.mo.us
Fax to our office at 816-858-7067
Bring a COPY with you to 12th Grade Registration. (please do not bring the original - we will not be able to make copies at registration)
Please email Nurse Olson at olsonj@platteco.k12.mo.us with any questions or concerns.
Athletics/Activities - Return to Play Form
As we begin our fall athletics/activities, please help us out by following a few simple guidelines:
- Perform daily self screenings with your students
- Keep your students home if they are showing any signs of illness
- Make sure your students bring their own water
- Contact Dr. Beutel (beutelj@platteco.k12.mo.us) immediately if there is a positive test in your family or if your student has been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19
- MSHSAA is requiring any student who tests positive for COVID-19 to submit this Return to Play form prior to being allowed to participate in athletics/activities. The student will need to be cleared by a physician then our trainer will oversee the 5 stages of returning to play
