The event takes place Wednesday, March 8, 2017, but the videos are due on Friday, December 16, 2016.
Follow these directions to submit a TED talk.
Video submission will be done through YouTube. Submission Direction
What are the TEDxYouth@Columbus rules?
- Less than 4 minutes
- No notecards during presentation
- No more than 6 slides in a presentation
- No political agendas, religious proselytizing, or selling
What does a great TED talk contain?
- one great idea
- engaged audience
- a personal connection
- researched facts
- vivid explainations
- an idea worth sharing

What should be included as Visual Aids or on PowerPoint Slides
PowerPoint slides are not required.They should only be used if they are impactful. Keep the following in mind as you help your students decide about their visual aids.
credit any photos
slides should not be “over cliparted”
- do not include a lot of bulleted text
