Spirit Week- Student Council Sponsored
The Student Council will be hosting a spirit week to raise money for recess equipment. If students would like to participate, they can donate $2, and dress up for the entire week. The spirit days are as follows:
Monday 3/14- Favorite Color Day
Tuesday 3/15- Crazy Hair Day
Wednesday 3/16- Wacky Tacky Day
Thursday 3/17- Green Out
Friday 3/18- Crazy Sock Day

Notes of Encouragement
Our second and third graders created notes of encouragement as part of our author visit two weeks ago. These notes are meant to spread kindness. Some of our notes were able to be sent to Ukraine to be dispersed to Ukrainian children and families. Another batch of notes found there way to a staff retreat at Notre Dame High School in Fairfield, CT. Below is a picture of the staff who received our students notes. Author, Renata Bowers shared that many of these notes brought teachers to tears.

PBIS Celebrations
We have held PBIS Celebration the last two Fridays. Students resisted the themes of Kindness, Diversity, and Empathy during the assembly through skits, videos, and performances. Students from Ms. Harris' second grade classroom performed a piece called Rainforest Rock. The link to the performance is below.
