  • "I can walk calmly and quietly in the hallway."
  • We met our teachers & made new friends!

HUGS & KISSES ON THE PORCH

Thank you for understanding that adults are not allowed to walk their child to class each morning. This is for safety reasons. Our school follows safety measures including locked exterior doors, locked classroom doors and background checks for any adults entering the hallways and classrooms.

FREE BREAKFAST FOR ALL STUDENTS

Breakfast is free for all students from 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. If a student has already eaten breakfast at home, they are encouraged to take a grab-n-go breakfast that they can store in their locker or backpack for snack time.

SMILES FOR MILES

What did the Janitor say when he jumped out of the closet? SUPPLIES!

ICE CREAM

Beginning Friday, September 7th, the cafeteria sells ice cream at lunch time for 75 cents.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT

Mrs. Ashley Phelps is our School Counselor. She works with all students to help them build self-esteem, problem solving skills and good character. She talked to all CES students this week about how her office is a "safe place." She has two children and is currently moving closer to the Brooklyn area.
