Memorial Day Holiday is this Monday, May 29 - no school.

The 8th-grade promotion celebration is on June 15 at 9:00 am; two promotion entrance tickets per student. The student can enter without a promotion-celebration ticket. As we approach this exciting date for our wonderful 8th-grade Hornets and families, you will receive more details about the event.

All 8th-grade students can borrow or purchase a promoting green color gown. On the promotion day, our fantastic classified staff will be at the exiting gates collecting all the promoting gowns on your way out of campus. Students who purchase the gown will have a special bracelet (pass) to show to staff as they exit and can walk off campus wearing it. If you want your child to wear the gown as you celebrate at home with family, you must purchase it. Tassels are optional for 7.00 dollars. If interested, students may purchase it during lunch or after school in the main office (Please exact cash only)

All 8th-grade students will receive a customized free E.O. Green Jr. High School promoting stole. More information is coming soon.

We will continue with random backpack checks daily. Please ensure your student only has school tools needed for learning. Talk to your student about making good choices and being the best student possible. They are brilliant and have so much potential to continue thriving. We, the school staff, appreciate your support to continue working together to ensure your child is successful.

Please rest up and have a great three-day weekend.

Message From The Health Office:

Reminder to Parents:

The health office is a busy place. We have seen an increase in students coming to the health office that appear to be using the COVID protocols as a way to get out of class. Please talk with your student about not coming to the health office unless they are genuinely not feeling well. Also, COVID is still present and we are following the current Ventura County Public Health guidelines so please have a plan for who can pick up your student in case your student is sent home sick. Any COVID symptoms still require a negative COVID test result for the student to return to school. We want students in class as much as possible while looking out for your students' health and safety. Thank you for your help.
