The McShan Mustang Messenger
September 10th, 2020
Our Focus This Year and Every Year is EVERY STUDENT, EVERY DAY!
A Message from Mr. Medaris
Wow! What a great start to our 2020-21 school year! Thank you McShan Community for working hard to enroll your children! I know that we are going to beat this Covid-19 Pandemic together!
September 28th will be the first day that Prek and Kindergarten students will be able to return to McShan for face-to-face instruction in the classroom.
October 5th will be the first day that 1st-5th grade students will be able to return to McShan for face-to-face instruction in the classroom.
Parents, in order for us to get an accurate picture of how we are going to need to restart McShan, it is extremely important that you complete the survey for EACH child that attends our school. Here is the link to the survey: Reentry Survey
As we continue to empower our future leaders through The Leader In Me, we are going to also focus on our newest priority, Equity and Excellence, to ensure that we continue to break down social injustice through our educational practices and policies. More information on both of these important initiatives will be presented throughout the 2020-21 school year.
If your child needs a device (Prek-2: iPads; 3rd-5th: Chromebooks), go to http://tiny.cc/agree2020 and fill out the agreement form. If you need an internet connection hotspot, go to http://tiny.cc/hotspot2020 and fill out the agreement form. Devices will be delivered to McShan and we will call you. Hotspots will be mailed to your address. Please make sure that you have given us as many contact numbers and email addresses as possible so we can stay in close contact with you.
If you have any questions at all, call us at 972-502-3800.
Thanks to all of you for choosing to be part of the Mighty McShan Mustang Family and always working with us to ensure that your child receives the highest quality education EVERY day!
STAY SAFE and STAY STRONG!
