Heritage Family Literacy Night

Early Childhood Literacy: Kelly Cochran, Children’s Librarian from Orange Branch of Delaware County District Library, shares information and resources for developing early literacy with babies, toddlers and preschool aged children.

Mad Libs: Kids work together as a group to solve these ever popular word games.

Staff Read Alouds: Visit the Commons to hear Heritage staff members read aloud a favorite book.

Celebrate Black History: February is Black History Month. Stop by to experience great books and activities relating to Famous African Americans.

4th/5th Student Read Alouds: Fourth and fifth grade students share their favorite picture books with younger students.

Literacy Crafts: Visit the art room for fun crafts and activities relating to literature.

Digital Literacy / Library Resources: Join Elizabeth Waltz, HES Library and Julie Standish from Orange Branch, Delaware County District Library for information and the chance to explore a variety of library literacy resources.
