HAC opens tomorrow at 8:00 am for teacher assignments. I know this is a much anticipated day that comes with a lot of excitement! Teams of teachers, specialists and myself have spent hours putting together class lists. We are thoughtful in this process as our goal is for your child to have the best school year possible. I know there are times where families have a specific teacher in mind, and your child might not be placed with that teacher. Please understand the amount of work and intentionality that goes into building these class lists. Because of this, I will not be making classroom changes. The Ferson staff is amazing, capable, and here for your children. I am fully confident in their ability to support your child and help them grow this year.

I am looking forward to seeing you all next week for Welcome Back Day and on Monday, August 14th for the first day of school. The 2023-2024 school year is going to be awesome!

All students are invited to drop off school supplies and to meet classroom teachers on Thursday, August 10th from 4:00-6:00 pm. PTO is making this a true welcome event with food trucks from The Cilantro Grill, Dave's Slow Food and Kona Ice!

I encourage you to follow this schedule:

• 4:00-5:00 pm - Last names beginning with A - I
• 4:30-5:30 pm - Last names beginning with J - Q
• 5:00-6:00 pm - Last names beginning with R - Z

This will assist us in meeting your needs in a timely manner and should cut down on the crowds in classrooms, as well as congestion in our parking lot. However, please understand you are welcome to come anytime between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

Teacher assignments will be available on Friday, August 4th via Home Access Center (HAC).

In anticipation of finding out your child’s classroom teacher on August 4th, please make sure you are registered on the Home Access Center (HAC). If you previously registered, your login names and passwords have not changed, and you do not need to re-register. If you are new or have not previously registered you must have a current and valid email address on file with the school. If you have not provided a current and valid email address you may do so by calling the school office prior to August 4th.
