Also in reading we will continue to work on letters Tt and Ii. We will practice rhyming words, counting the number of words in a sentence, syllables, breaking apart sounds within words, as well as practice handwriting. We will continue to practice and learn sight words, sounding out words, and writing sentences. The students’ writing skills are improving each week and we will continue to work on this skill each Friday. In Math, we will be working on patterns, positional words, and measurement.
American Education Week – Please feel free to come see your student learning within the classroom. Each classroom will have chairs available for you to sit and watch what is going on in the classroom. The best times to come visit are from 9:45- 11:00 and 12:30- 1:45.
Turkey Trot- The students will walk to River Hill High School and run around the track for ten minutes. Please come and support our students and cheer them on as they run! Make sure to look for a note home about your class color.
***Please remember to check your students’ folder every night. Also, keep working on your homework journals!
