Liberty Weekly Update
Friday, August 26, 2022
It's been a great start to the school year at Liberty Elementary! We were happy to be able to meet so many parents at our Back to School Night!
The dedicated and hard working staff is excited and ready to help all of our students feel success academically, socially, and behaviorally. We look forward to a great year getting to know your children and seeing them grow in all areas.
We recognize that in order to be successful in school, our students need support from both the school and the home. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child's education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children's success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities. We ask that you guide and support your child's learning by ensuring that they:
- Attend school daily and arrive on time, ready for the day's learning experience.
- Know to be nice, work hard, and stay safe.
- Know that you expect them to do their best in school.
We are honored to work alongside you as we serve your student this year.
Sincerely,
Amy Turley (Principal) & Brittney Krieg (Dean of Students)

1st Graders Meet Grizzly
Mrs. Ledyard, the librarian has teamed up with Mrs. Zager, the school counselor to introduce our 1st graders to Grizzly, the school therapy dog. Mrs. Ledyard read the students a book about therapy dogs and the students learned how to be good listeners. Mrs. Zager taught the students procedures for visiting with Grizzly.
Simple Qpon Fundraiser
Please help us with our fundraiser this year. Money from books sold goes to fund student and school activities throughout the year. We are asking our families to at least purchase 1 book to help our school and share with friends and families so they may enjoy all the savings as well. Remember our school gets $10 profit from each book sold!! We appreciate your participation in helping us reach our goal and books will be sent home shortly after the end of the fundraiser.
Books can also be purchased online at www.SimpleQpons.com Click Support a Group > Select: Liberty Elementary School from the drop down and it will be mailed directly to you. Be sure to select our school and place the student’s name in the checkout section to be sure your student gets credit for it.
