Transportation updates & parking
Be sure to check the most up-to-date bus routes on the CCPS website. Any questions regarding bus route transportation should be directed to the CCPS transportation department.
2. Morning parent drop-off will be different this year. Please read carefully.
- We will not be using the front doors for parent drop-off this year.
- We must keep the main parking lot open for teachers and staff members, parents who are attending scheduled meetings, and/or require handicapped accessible parking.
- You will enter GHES from Beaver Bridge road and drive straight to the road behind our building (in the direction of the playground).
- All traffic will be stopped in front of Trailer #3 (last trailer) - please adhere to the cones that will be placed across the road.
- All students being dropped off by parents in the morning are required to stay in their vehicles until released by GHES faculty/staff.
- Doors will not open until 8:15 a.m. At that time students will be directed by assigned staff from their cars to the nearest doorway.
- All teachers will be standing at classroom doors to direct students once inside the building. Additional staff will be available to assist our newest bulldogs and kindergarten students.
- We will have staff directing traffic to assist parents with the new morning drop-off procedures.
- We ask for your cooperation as our community navigates these changes.
3. Volunteer Parking
- We are asking all school volunteers that are arriving before 8:15 a.m. to park in the dirt lot beside the basketball court and/or the lot behind the football field.
- Any volunteers arriving to GHES after 8:30 a.m. are free to use any open parking in the main lot.
Come write happy notes on the sidewalk to welcome our Bulldogs back for the 18-19 school year!
Tune in on Facebook to our Grange Hall Elementary page (GHesprincipal) as Mrs. Jones reads a bedtime story at 7pm the night before school starts!

Denim Drive 2018
Bring your gently used denim (any style, any size/pants/skirts/shirts/shorts/jackets) to GHES and place in the blue bin outside the school by the office.
The Chesterfield County school that collects the most pieces/items will win $1,000 for their school's PTA. All items will then go to Goodwill.
Together, we can put Grange Hall in first place!
