Reflections from Ms. Williams
WBMS Parents and Guardians –
Since it is one of our value words, this week’s message will be a WBMS story of perseverance. After months of hard work, rehearsals, and planning, our staff and students involved in our musical were told the lights in the AHS Auditorium had been hit by lightning and could not be repaired. They had a short time to find another venue. But there is so much more to it than just location and disappointment, all the chorography and blocking had been created for the AHS stage, which is far larger than ours; furthermore, we do not have proper sound or lighting or even a dressing room. However, in a VERY short time, this group of adults and students has found extensions for our stage, lighting, sound and lots of GRIT. They have moved forward as a team and are ready to WOW us all this weekend. Please come support and celebrate them. I’ve only seen a few scenes, but what I have seen is clever, effervescent, and simply fun.
Whatever you do this weekend, enjoy it fully!
