Invitation to NASA/La Salle University STEM Summer Camp
Join NASA/La Salle University Earth, Science, Space and STEM Day Camp
NASA’s Challenger Learning Center and La Salle University are hosting a summer day camp for students who will be entering grades 4 through those completing grade through 6. The camp is focused on developing student interest in Earth, Space, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics areas.
The day camp is one week long and will be hosted at La Salle University. Students will work on learning modules developed through NASA’s CLC program.
Lunch and snacks will be provided for the campers, but campers do need to provide their own transportation to La Salle. The camp runs from Monday, June 18 to Thursday, June 21 from 9AM to 3PM and Friday, June 22 from 9AM to Noon.
Students interested in attending the camp are asked to complete the form at the link below. They also need to upload the parental consent form and the video release form in order to participate.
Applications are due by May 21 and will be reviewed by the camp committee during that week. The campers will be notified of acceptance on Friday, May 25.
The camp is intended for students in underserved communities, including Hispanic/Latinos and/or African Americans, and low-income communities who have a real interest in Earth, Space, Science and STEM.
