Invisibility RPT

" Homeless Children" (article)
Over the past few years, Nix-Hodes of Chicago homeless coalition said she’s seen child homelessness in the city skyrocket. (Homeless children, 4)
This shows invisibility because of the fact that the number of homeless children has increased instead of decreasing, if the homeless children population wasn’t invisible then the number would have decreased.
Have the Homeless Become Invisible? (video)
People acted like they were homeless and had their family members walk by them and the family members didn’t notice that it was them.
This presents invisibility because it shows how people notice the homeless out on the streets but choose to ignore them or they just don’t notice them. And if they do notice them they choose not to help them out.
"Things Not Seen" (Book)
Sheila doesn’t want to return to normal, and she likes her life right now better than her life before she turned invisible.
This is an example of invisibility because Sheila said that if she never turned invisible then she could of turned invisible some other way like drugs or alcohol.
