Going to the High School Football Game? Please Read!
Students if you are attending tonight's game at Barrington High School there are a couple of details the high school would like you to know:
1. There will be no school bags allowed in the stadium.
2. There will be no footballs or other objects that can be thrown allowed in the stadium.
3. All students must have a ticket to the game; it must be purchased ahead of time at gofan.co.
4. There is a designated middle school section in the bleachers. All middle school students are to be in the middle school section throughout the game.
As always we expect everyone to be on their best behavior.
Welcome Back to a New School Year!
We want to share the topics that the school counselors will be covering this year. Each grade level counselor will go into the classroom to do Social Emotional Lessons (SEL) with the students. These lessons will cover a variety of themes such as respect, team building, problem solving and empathy. Some of the other topics we cover are bullying, positive mental health and the state mandated Erin’s Law (child sexual abuse awareness). If you would like to opt-out of the Erin’s Law curriculum, please submit this form to your grade level counselor.
Our approach is to teach students to make positive healthy choices for themselves. These lessons will occur throughout the school year. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s grade level counselor. We are looking forward to a great year!
