Horse Racing in Ancient Greece vs Horse racing today.
In ancient Greece they raced chariots pulled by four horses or less sometimes the jockey or even the horse died when they wrecked. The owner of the horse did not participate in the races they hired a jockey to race the horse and when the horse won the owner took all the credit for the win.
Today people race horses by having a jockey race the horse around the track like they do in nascar but with horse the ground is dirt. They train their horses to run a lot faster so they can win the race.
