Healthy Snacking
Here are the ABC’s of healthy snacking (taken from the eatright.org website)
Plan Ahead. Keep healthy options in sight and junk or unhealthy foods out of site and out of mind.
Be Portion Savvy. Snacks should be small and simple so that they do not replace a meal.
Make it a Combo. The ideal snack is nutritious and provides a combination of carbohydrates and protein.

Health Education class coming up!
Health Education class will be Tuesday, March 23rd and Thursday, March 25th for the 5th and 6th grade. Nurse Laura will be teaching the girls and Jon Kulhanek will be teaching the boys. A parent letter with the curriculum will be coming home soon. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or email. If you do not want your child to learn about health education, there is an opt-out form online or the office will have a copy for you to complete.
Spring Break!
Spring break is almost here. I hope you have a healthy and wonderful spring break with your family and are able to play outside and have some fun. Remember to wear your helmet when snowmachining! When we return to school, we will be in the 4th quarter of the school year!
