Iranian Hostage Crisis

Summary

The Iranian hostage crisis was a serious take over. The Iranian people invaded the US embassy on November 4,1979 in the city of Tehran. The young Islamic protesters took more then 60 american hostages. The hostages were lucky to not be hurt any way physically but were in imprisoned for 444 days. They did not get realized until the time Ronald Reagan took office as the U.S. president. The protesters took these hostages because they were mad at what Jimmy Carter helped make a peace agreements with the nations of Israel and Egypt. Every tactics felled to rescue these hostages. The leader of these protesters was Ayatollah Ruhollah.
