News from Mrs. Hughes

Hello Lincoln Families!

Welcome to another great week of learning at Lincoln School. Thanks again for all your help and support in keeping our Lincoln School families and staff safe. You are doing a great job!

This Friday will be the first of two days that we have set aside for virtual parent/teacher conferences. These days are still attendance days for students. Please have them check their Google Classroom as usual.

Even though this year year looks a bit different, we always love a chance to engage parents around the academic growth of their children. Research shows that students learn more, have better attendance and earn better grades when their parents are involved in their child's education and school environment. When you attend conferences at school, you send a positive message to your child that school is important. Please check with your child's teacher for a conference time that works for you.

As we look to the future and plan for full in-person learning, we continue to watch the health metrics set out by the Arizona Department of Health Services. We are very close, but still have some distance to go on our way to minimal risk in the Prescott area. If you would like to view the metrics or review any of our safety measures, please visit our PUSD Health & Safety Website. We will keep you posted when a decision has been made on the start date of full in-person learning.

As always, thank you for choosing Lincoln School for your child's education. We are honored to serve your family.

Warmly,

Karen Hughes, Principal

This is an online event.

Lincoln School PTA has always been an invaluable resource for families and a HUGE reason why Lincoln is such a great community school. This agenda will be short and sweet.
