"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
A Slice of “Spiritual Bread” for the Christian Home . . .
. . . “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
The Word of God before us today is part of Joshua’s final speech to the Children of Israel. He had seen the mighty hand of the LORD’s deliverance time and again. His faith in God shined brightly as he carried out his duties as a faithful, God-appointed leader. Before he closed his eyes in death, Joshua encouraged the people he served to stay away from the temptations of the ungodly nations around them and to worship and serve the true God.
Today, we live in a broken, sinful world. Just like the Children of Israel, we face temptations all around us. May we take to heart the words of Joshua and may his words be ours as we describe our faith and trust in God and His Word today!
Have a wonderful day and may Jesus always keep you in His care!
Blessings in Christ,
Jon Woldt, Principal

New Mission for January! The Chilenje Project
Our chapel offerings for the second half of the year will be supporting Chilenje Lutheran Church in Chilenje, Zambia.
This is a group of Christians who are struggling to raise money for a church building to worship in. Currently, they hold their church services in a large tent, but they do have plans to build a church and a school. We have the special opportunity to support them with our chapel offerings. Please keep Chilenje Lutheran Church in your prayers, and consider supporting them with a financial gift as they seek to do God’s work in Africa!
Shirts, sweatshirts, popsockets! Get them now to show off your school spirit!
