News From The View

Skyview Upper Elementary School

From Mrs. Berical

Dear Families,

What a wonderful evening we had on Monday as we came together as a school community to listen to our 5th and 6th grade musicians. We continue to feel grateful for the ongoing support you show to your child and the Skyview music department. Our musicians sounded fantastic and helped to put us in the holiday spirit!

Next week is a winter spirit week at Skyview! Please see the flyer below to help your child plan for school each day. Participating in this spirit week is optional!

Please continue to encourage your child to check the lost and found in the Skyview main lobby (1st floor). Many items are accumulating and all items will be donated in January if they are not claimed. I appreciate your attention to this important matter!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Berical

Cafeteria

If your child is getting a school breakfast or lunch, it is important that they have their student ID ready to use when they go through the cafeteria line. Having the ID ready speeds up the process of moving through the line. Please remind your child to bring their ID to school each day and to have it easily accessible at breakfast and lunch.

In addition, please remind your child that appropriate behavior is expected in the cafeteria. Manners such as saying please and thank you, throwing trash away and cleaning their space after they are finished eating is expected. We greatly appreciate you discussing these expectations with your child so that we can work together to provide a more pleasurable dining experience.
