Summer Reading Program Begins June 13
“Every Hero Has a Story” is our theme for this years Summer Reading Program (SRP), beginning June 13. What’s your story?! What will your superhero name be and what about super powers? This summer is full of reading challenges, prizes, special programs, and activities including Silly Saturdays and Super Craft Fridays. A library card is not required to participate in SRP. Open for ages 0-17. Sign up on or after June 13. Parents and Guardians, check out more details and a Summer Reading events calendar by clicking here.
Silly Saturdays & Supercraft Fridays
Silly Saturdays will return beginning June 13! Every Saturday through July kids are welcome to find five silly things in the library and win a small prize. Get ready to be silly.
Let's make super cool hero themed crafts on Super craft Fridays from 11am to 11:45am. For all ages. June 26 through July 24.
Book Sale Thank You's
The Upper Skagit Library Foundation would like to thank all of our lovely volunteers who helped coordinate the book sale on May 23 at the Concrete Saturday Market, especially Nancy and Steve Johnson. We are happy to announce our total for the day was $630. We are so thankful to the people of Concrete and surrounding communities who patronized our table and made this possible.
Mobile Library @ Marblemount Market
Mark your calendars. The library returns to the Marblemount Market every second Sunday of the month - June through September; June 14, July 12, August 9, and September 13. Check out our table full of books for checkout and for sale, library information, and kids’ activities. Stop by and say hello, return and checkout books, or sign up for a card.
