Claires Court Bulletin

The talks on the Alternatives to Higher Education and Higher Education were very well attended on Tuesday evening and we hope parents and students found them informative and inspiring. Both presentations by Helen Cole and Dr Hasna Zaher have been shared with the students via gmail and we would encourage them to revisit them and take advantage of the 'live' links to company and other websites. Students should be thinking about university and the higher level apprenticeships so using course search on the UCAS website, paying particular notice to the entry requirements, as well as researching the alternatives using, are a good starting point. All the necessary links are on the Post 18 pages of the newly launched Careers website in the Parent Area (see below).

Helping your child plan his/her future

We are pleased to launch the Claires Court Careers Website.

Please take a look, as this valuable tool is a great way for the School and for you as parents, to support your son or daughter and help them investigate their future career options.

It is bespoke to our pupils and packed with all the resources needed for them to find, research, understand and make decisions about their future. For pupils in Year 7 onwards it will be used as part of their educational experience at Claires Court in specific sessions, but available for you and them to browse at any time.

You can access the Careers website, from the Parent Area of the school website or with your son or daughter via the hub. We hope you will find it useful and informative.

On Monday and Tuesday we have professional photographers on site taking photos for our new website. Please could all pupils be smartly dressed as per the uniform regulations. Thank you for your support.
