State Testing Set to Begin

Next week, we will begin state testing. Students in third through tenth grades will be taking the ACT Aspire. Please be sure students get to school on time, have a good breakfast, and are focused.

Summer Jobs Available

Pulaski County Youth Services is thrilled to announce the Summer Workforce Youth Employment Opportunity! Youth ages 16-21 who reside in Northern, Southern, and Western areas of Pulaski County, are invited to apply for the Summer Workforce Youth Employment Opportunity to be connected with a meaningful, paid job placement for the summer. Job placements will provide youth the opportunity to gain valuable soft skills, resume builders, financial literacy, and incredible community connections.

NLRSD to No Longer Host Mass Physicals

The North Little Rock School District no longer provides mass athletic physicals. This step is being taken to align the district with best practice recommendations of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American College of Sports Medicine. These organizations do not endorse mass sports physicals.

Want Your Student to Visit Puerto Rico?

North Little Rock High School is organizing a trip through EF Educational Tours to Puerto Rico. The trip will in summer 2024. An informational meeting will take place Thursday, April 20 via Zoom.

Baseball Community Night

As you may know, the devastating tornado struck Burns Park and totally destroyed the baseball and softball fields, where our teams play.


On Monday, we will be joining the Arkansas Travelers at Dickey-Stephens Park to cheer on our Charging Wildcats as they battle against the Conway Wampus Cats. Donations will go toward the NLRSD Tornado Relief Fund that will be used to assist our students, employees, and families.
