The Patriot Way
August 21, 2023 Vol. 2
Front Office Notes
Patriot Nation,
The first 1.5 weeks of the school year is in the books! Students are settling in; teachers are excitedly into the curriculum; athletics are all a full-go in the seasons; and construction on the baseball and softball fields are well on their way.
This is a great time for students and parents to continue monitoring grades in classes with Harmony Family Access. If you or your student are still having difficulties, contact the school and we will get you the help you need.
We do have an online store that will be available year round. This is for more than just athletic specific gear. Follow the link to BSN Sports for the complete list.
Let's have another great week!
Best Regards,
Seeger Administration

Hello, my name is Carey Harris and I am the nurse for Seeger Jr./Sr. High School. I just wanted to refresh parents and kids on some things that would be helpful for me to best serve our student population.
-Please report any injuries your child has to Nurse Carey (765-893-4445 ext 2108). This is helpful for your child to have restrictions in place at school if they have a medical device such as crutches and/or a boot.
-If your child sustains an injury I must get a letter of clearance once they are fully cleared to participate in PE and sports.
-If your child is an athlete, we do have an Athletic Trainer after school hours. They will not be permitted to see the trainer during class instruction time.
-If your child is sick at school it is the expectation that you will have someone pick them up at Door 23 at the front of the school. They are not to attend any extra-curricular activities if they did not come to school due to an illness and until they are 24 hours fever free without the use of Tylenol or Ibuprofen and have not experienced vomiting or diarrhea for 24 hours.
-Midol is available in the Nursing office now and I will call/text you to get approval to be given for your daughter. If your child is allergic to Midol please reach out and let me know.
-Medications are to be stored in the nurse's office. This includes Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Midol, prescription medication, and medicated creams. If your child has a rescue inhaler an Asthma Action Plan must be updated with Nurse Carey. If your child has an Epi-Pen, your child must have a doctor's note to carry this on them.
-PE is required for our students. Please send appropriate hygiene products with your child. If this is an issue please let me know.
Thank you for trusting me to help take care of your children. It has been an amazing experience so far!
