4th Quarter Newsletter

Principal's Message

Dear Parent / Families,

As we are transitioning into 4th quarter, I wanted to let our families know that the staff at DES appreciates all of the support this year. From the beginning of the year we knew that this school year was going to present us with unprecedented challenges, and we feel as though our school and community, working together, have met these head on.

On March 16th the McCall-Donnelly School Board made the decision to continue with the current hybrid schedule through the end of 2020-2021. For additional details regarding the circumstances that led to this decision please refer to the letter from Superintendent Jim Foudy (Schedule Communication). We understand that families are still facing unique challenges and we are available to help. If you have any academic or social-emotional needs, please contact the school directly or please let your child's teacher know at parent-teacher conferences, which are scheduled for April 1st and 2nd. - Mr. Pickard

McCall-Donnelly Bond Passed!

We are excited to announce that on March 9th voters overwhelmingly (YES 1077 to NO 130) voted in favor of the bond. This is exciting news for the students, staff, and community of Donnelly! Although there is still a lot of work to do, I wanted to provide the initial draft of the upgrade and expansion that is planned for Donnelly Elementary. Thank you for all your support!
