GMS Recognizes Black History Month
One of the highlights and culminating activities of Black History Month for Gettys Middle School is the Black History Program. This year it was held on February 23, and Alesia Smith, Executive Director of Equity Compliance with Clemson University, was our guest speaker. Special thanks for 8th grade English teacher Barbara Wimphrie for her leadership and contributions to the program!
