Make sure to register on Sumner County PL to attend and get pre-approval from your principal. There will be limited seats for all sessions so if you register and decide not to attend, please unregister on Sumner County PL.
Check your email during the summer as presenters plan to email all registered participants prior to the dates above with specific instructions for the sessions.

Teachers will need to bring a laptop or Chromebook to this full-day session.
Teachers can expect to learn about many things Google as time permits. There will be time for teachers to collaborate with other teachers as well as create technology integrated lessons for the fall. Please come prepared with content in mind as well as what you would like to learn. We will also discuss how Google learning can be ongoing throughout the school year.

The Past, Present and Future of Your iPad in the Classroom

Please bring an iPad to this training…. Preferably IOS 12 or higher.
The training will consist of how to use the iPad as a learning tool for all students. This session will be geared toward teachers with multiple ipads in their classrooms and use the device for more than a rotation. Participants will be creating content and

- Review settings and basic functions of iPad to be effective and efficient

STEM Lending Library Playground

During this session, participants will learn about free STEM resources and discover what items can be used from the District STEM Lending Library in their classrooms. The session will also provide an opportunity for teachers to use the STEM Lending Library resources to participate in various hands-on challenges.
