Mrs. Reeg's Math Class News

Week of March 14, 2016

Thank you for supporting Mentor Schools and Issue 3!

This Week In Math:

This past week we learned about the coordinate plane. Next week we will learn how to classify triangles by their side lengths and angle measurements. Students will also apply the properties of a parallelogram, rhombus and trapezoid. Students will learn how to classify two-dimensional figures in a hierarchy based on properties. Below I have included a video from Khan Academy on classifying triangles and another video on classifying quadrilaterals.

The camps are designed to be both educational and engaging. All are taught by Mentor teachers. Students may receive informational flyers from their teachers or be sure to check out last week's Beacon.
