What happens if we do not eat complex carbs?

When your body does not have enough carbs as fuel, it breaks down body fat and uses it as energy instead. While this happens, a thing called ketones build up in the body, which causes headaches, nausea, difficulty on focusing, and bad breath to top it off.

Eating too few carbs can also cause fatigue. Having insufficient carbs in your body gives it less energy to use. Less energy means being more tired.
